1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms and Conditions form an agreement between you and Content My Trip (“CMT”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account, selecting the consent checkbox, submitting content, placing or accepting an editing bid, or otherwise using CMT, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not upload or use the platform.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into this agreement. If you act for a business or another person, you confirm that you have authority to bind them.
2. Accounts and platform use
You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and promptly notify us of unauthorised use. You are responsible for activity through your account. You may not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, scrape it without permission, impersonate another person, or use it for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive activity.
3. Content you upload
You retain ownership of your original content. For every video, audio track, image, name, likeness, logo, location, or other material you submit, you represent that:
- you own it or have all permissions needed to upload, edit, publish, promote, and monetise it;
- identifiable people have consented where legally required, including a parent or guardian for a minor;
- it does not infringe copyright, privacy, publicity, trademark, contractual, or other rights;
- it is not illegal, deceptive, defamatory, threatening, exploitative, sexually explicit, or harmful; and
- its title, description, destination, hashtags, SEO tags, and editing instructions are accurate and not misleading.
Do not include commercially released music or third-party footage unless you hold the necessary licences. You are responsible for submitted material and claims arising from it.
4. Licence to review, edit, and publish
When you submit content, you grant CMT a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable and sublicensable licence to host, store, copy, review, moderate, edit, adapt, crop, combine, caption, translate, create thumbnails and derivative edits from, distribute, publicly display, communicate, promote, and publish that content through CMT websites, apps, marketing, and connected social-media channels.
This licence includes reasonable use of submitted names, handles, voices, and likenesses to credit, describe, promote, or distribute the content. CMT may authorise its editors, hosting providers, social platforms, and service providers to exercise these rights for operating, distributing, or promoting the service and content.
The licence continues while content is hosted or published. Removal requests remain subject to legal duties, third-party processing times, completed campaigns, backups, and records we must retain. Rights exercised before removal are not retroactively cancelled.
5. Editing requests, bids, and payments
Editing instructions are requests and do not guarantee a particular creative result, reach, engagement, or “viral” outcome. A bid is your proposed editing budget, including ₹0. Selecting Pay Later means no price is agreed at upload. CMT or an editor must accept an offer before it becomes a paid assignment. The final scope, price, revisions, delivery estimate, taxes, refund eligibility, and payment timing shown for an accepted assignment form part of this agreement.
CMT may decline, reassign, pause, or cancel a request where content is unsuitable, rights are unclear, payment fails, requested work is impractical, or platform safety requires it.
6. Review, publication, and takedowns
CMT may approve, reject, restrict, label, edit, decline to publish, or remove content at its reasonable discretion for rights complaints, safety, quality, legal compliance, or third-party platform rules. Approval does not guarantee publication by a fixed date or continued availability on a third-party service.
If you believe content infringes your rights, use Contact Support and identify the work, disputed content, your contact details, and the basis of the claim. We may request proof and share the notice with the uploader where lawful.
7. Privacy and platform data
We process account details, submitted media, instructions, bids, transaction records, usage information, and support communications to provide, secure, improve, and comply with legal obligations relating to the service. Do not upload another person’s sensitive information unless necessary and you have a lawful basis and permission.
Service providers and social-media platforms may process data under their own terms. Transaction, consent, moderation, and legal records may be retained after content or an account is removed where reasonably required for compliance, disputes, fraud prevention, or enforcement.
8. Disclaimers, responsibility, and liability
The service is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, CMT does not promise uninterrupted availability, permanent storage, a particular edit outcome, earnings, audience reach, or compatibility with every social platform. Nothing here excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
You agree to reimburse CMT for reasonable losses, liabilities, and costs arising from your unlawful content, breach of section 3, or misuse of the platform, except to the extent caused by CMT’s own breach or unlawful conduct.
9. Suspension, termination, and changes
You may stop using CMT at any time. We may restrict or terminate access for material or repeated violations, fraud, security risk, legal requirements, or harm to users or the platform. Provisions concerning licences already exercised, payments, ownership, records, disputes, and liability survive where their nature requires.
We may update these terms when the service or law changes. Material changes will be posted with a new effective date and, where appropriate, additional notice or renewed consent. Changes do not apply retroactively unless required by law or expressly agreed.
10. Governing law and general terms
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts with lawful jurisdiction over the dispute will have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer rights or dispute-resolution rules. Before filing a claim, both sides should first attempt in good faith to resolve it through Contact Support.
If part of these terms is unenforceable, the remainder continues. Failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. You may not transfer this agreement without consent; CMT may transfer it as part of a reorganisation, financing, merger, or sale, subject to applicable law.
11. Contact
Questions, legal notices, copyright complaints, and privacy requests can be submitted through Contact Support. Include enough information for us to identify your account and request.
